Band – Percussion Drum Coordinator

The Percussion Class studies and explores the arts of concert percussion ensembles and solos, marching drumline and front ensemble, and supporting the band's percussion needs. The requirements and expectations of this program are very demanding as the program is designed for the committed and focused percussion student.

We rehearse every Monday 4:45-7:30 & Wednesday 3:45-6:30.

Chess Club

Come join fellow chess players in some friendly competition at the chess table. We are also open to teaching the game of chess if you would like to learn how to play. We play other board games as well.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is open to all students. Student leaders and local churches work together to live and share the message of Jesus Christ, typically within athletics, involving coaches and players.

Habitat for Humanity 

Students 18 and over are able to participate in helping build homes in our community with the HFH Flagler County Chapter. All students who are not yet 18 are able to throw sod, and be on the properties when there are no power tools on the building sites. Habitat also has 2 re-sale stores in our community which students can earn community service hours by working them. Join us every Thursday@ 2:30 in room 6245 to participate in planning the month activities.

Interact Club

Interact Club is part of one of the world's largest service organizations, Rotary International. This student led club assists local Rotary Clubs in many events like Second Harvest Food Pantries, First Fridays at the Beach, Project Share, and many more while also pursuing their own service goals like cleaning up our water ways, increasing morale in the student body, and their most ambitious goal: packaging over 14,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger.

Interact Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month in Mr. De Ceglie's room, 6-218, at 7:40am. Students interested in learning more can text to 81010!

We are the largest and oldest service organization for teens. We are student led and participate in activities to help advance youth locally, nationally and worldwide.

Join us every Thursday in room 6245 at 2:30 where we participate in a weekly service project and plan our monthly/yearly activities.

The MHS Creative Writing Club provides students with an opportunity to write for the sheer joy of writing! From Storytelling to Poetry, students are given a safe space to share their souls with the world through the art of creative writing.

The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4,900 affiliated secondary schools across America and abroad. The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts. High school inductees are known as Thespians and junior high/middle school inductees are known as Junior Thespians. ITS is a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). We meet Thursday at 2:30-3:30 in the Pirate Theatre.
